No Boundaries Brew - 250g - Beans
There’s nothing we enjoy more than a mighty fine brew – before and after an epic surf session – so we’re proud to bring you this special coffee with Caravan Coffee Roasters. The first half of this blend is from Pedro Zacarias, a producer in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, whom we previously featured two years in a row. This coffee is brought to us by our long-time partners, Primavera Coffee, headed up by the inimitable Nadine Rasch. Completing the blend, we’ve begun exploring Nicaraguan coffees this year with help from Caravela, a Latin American importer focussed on fair prices and transparency. Finca Los Pozitos, based in the Jinotega department in north-central Nicaragua, is owned by Edwin Burgos García.
- Tasting notes - Sweet Citrus, Frangipane, Darjeeling Tea
- Blend Origin: Nicaragua, Guatemala
"At Caravan, all are welcome.
Our well-travelled coffee is sustainable, socially supportive and environmentally friendly. We put relationships at the heart of our sourcing, which means most of our coffee comes from long-standing partnerships. We roast with the aim to bring their care, craft, and hard work to the forefront.
One of the few things we do take seriously is our coffee. We invest time, money and other resources into initiatives that have a positive impact on the environment and coffee-producing communities.
We believe in pushing boundaries and challenging perceptions. We’ve pledged to support female coffee producers by sourcing a third of our coffee from women. We’re also giving back 1% of our revenue each year to environmental causes as part of a partnership with 1% for the Planet.
It starts with good intentions. It becomes well-travelled coffee."
