From award-winning documentary filmmaker Stacy Peralta comes Patagonia’s The Yin and Yang of Gerry Lopez, a film that lifts the veil on one of surfing’s most enigmatic heroes. While “Mr. Pipeline” is famously known for his calm demeanor in the tube, Gerry built his career with aggressive surfing that left behind a trail of blood and tears. Gerry is as radical as he is Zen; he transcends categorization. He’s one of the most influential surfers and surfboard shapers of all time, an entrepreneur, a family man, a movie star and a lifelong yogi who brought surfing to new frontiers. His influence on modern surfing is immeasurable, and for the first time, his story is being told in full.

Onsite bar, hot food are all available on site. A DJ will be playing at arrival.

This ticket entitles you to the open air cinema ticket. Any additional entertainment should be considered an  extra, and a change to the schedule will not result in a refund. Please note this venue is in a coastal location, and we encourage you to bring warm clothing, chairs or a rug (depending on preference). The screening will be subject to weather conditions, and whilst we hope for a sunny evening, it could be cold, wet and windy.

FOOD AND DRINK

There will be a range of hot food offerings on site for purchase, savoury and confectionary. There will also be a bar serving a range of drinks.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink if you prefer

PETS

Much as we love our pets, unfortunately animals are not allowed on site for the open air cinema.

PARKING

Will be available, and included within your ticket price, in the adjacent field.

WEATHER

If the weather is looking unsuitable for open air cinema, the evening may need to be altered. We will initially look to move it to an alternative weather proof location. Or postpone. n.b. if the evening is postponed the live interview element would not be able to be completed due to Gerry and Stacy's travel plans. In the event of postponement, not partial refund would be offered. In the event of cancellation a refund would be offered, or you would be given the chance to maintain your charitable donation.

MOVIE SCREENING AND AUDIO 

The movie will be displayed on an 8m LED external screen, and the audio will be played through external speakers.

SEATING

We encourage visitors to bring your own seating (picnic chairs etc). We's also recommend a blanket for comfort during the film. You may sit on a blanket, and a limited number of deck chairs will also be available free of charge on a first come first serve basis. There will be no allocated seating, we ask that people chose a spot which considers others, and allow a convenient space between each party.

CHANGE TO SCHEDULE

This ticket entitles you to the movie screening of the listed movie. Any additional entertainment is a value add to the ticket, and a change in schedule in this regard does not constitute a change in ticket, and as such will not make any changes eligible for a refund.

POLICY FOR UNDER 5s

Under enter the site for free. The location of the event is situated on a clifftop, so ensure that all children are well supervised. No children should be left in cars unattended.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED

If the event is cancelled for any reason we will try and reschedule in the first instance, and if this alternative date is not possible we will offer to refund the ticket value, or you have the offer to uphold the charitable donation.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO CANCEL?

The tickets are non-refundable i.e. if you are unable to attend or feel disinclined to attend for any reason the ticket will be non refundable. You may transfer the ticket to a friend.

ARE THERE LAVATORIES ON SITE

Yes - there are a range of clean of toilets on site.

AM I ALLOWED A BBQ ON SITE?

Only pre-prepared food will be allowed on site, barbeques or fires will not be allowed under any circumstances.
